Stéfanne Prijot’s documentary “Volcan” will be premiered at the Millenium Festival

Stéfanne Prijot’s documentary “Volcan” will be premiered at the Millenium Festival on Thursday 21 March at 7pm at the Vendôme cinema in Brussels.

“In Chile, forests are on fire, glaciers are melting, violence and inequality are on the rise… Camila is a dancer and chinchinera in Valparaiso and, at the age of 35, she is questioning the wisdom of giving birth to a child in today’s world, because if in her womb a desire for a child has awakened, as for many young people today, the state of the world operates like an insidious contraceptive. Camila goes in search of answers from her friends, her family and her flatmate, and even goes on a trip to Patagonia to meet up with an ecologist friend who studies glaciers there, and Veronica, a Mapuche woman who offers her a different perspective on life.”
