In the middle of a quiet and deserted countryside, an empty 2x2-lane freeway, which asphalt remains untouched, stretches away in the distance. It has never been used since it was built, several years before. Right on its edge, just a few meters away from the barriers, stands an isolated house with a small garden. A family lives in this house. Summer is at its start and the freeway is soon to be opened...
Literally dumped on the edge of the freeway, just a few meters from the exhaust pipes, in an increasingly hellish and constant noise, the family becomes disorientated, unbalanced and ends up shutting themselves from the rest of the world. They become marginalised and gradually sink into madness.
