Genesis

Having fled from a family that rejected their sexual orientation or gender expression, Qaïs, Saïra and Robin live at the Refuge, a Brussels-based association that helps them on the road to autonomy. But there, they have to constantly delve into their history and define their orientation to justify the need for help.
Between a past they struggle to leave behind and the challenge of a future outside the ASBL, imagination is a way of escaping the repetition of their personal stories, and enables them to envisage their identity outside the stereotypes an institutional shackles.
