Synopsis

Synopsis

Thanks to the archives of eleven RTBF programs (Belgian TV) from 1977 to 2003, a crucial period of the asbestos usage in Belgium and in Europe is highlighted. The industrialists knew all the risks, but the workers will progressively discover them through sickness and death. Those are the years before the asbestos ban, some years cynically won by the industry thanks to its propaganda, its denial and its lies to maintain profits.
