The film will be screened at CINEMATEK in Brussels

Synopsis
How can we approach today a museum built over a century ago to serve colonial propaganda?
In Tervuren, near Brussels, after five years of renovation, the AfricaMuseum has reopened its doors with new forms of exhibition. Visitors can be seen engaging in discussion with their guide or wandering freely through the galleries. Together, they sketch the contours of a place where—despite the new narratives—the past doesn’t seem to be past.
