THE KINGDOM by Samira Hmouda has been selected for the 2025 Rencontres de Coproduction Francophone (RCF).

We are very pleased to announce that our documentary project THE KINGDOM (LE ROYAUME) by Samira Hmouda, produced by Iota Production, has been selected as one of the 25 feature films at the Rencontres de Coproduction Francophone (RCF).

📍 Luxembourg – October 28 to 31, 2025: The Film Fund Luxembourg will host more than one hundred film professionals from around the world, including producers, financial partners, sales agents, distributors, and broadcasters.

A wonderful opportunity to highlight the diversity and creativity of Francophone cinema.

Congratulations to Samira Hmouda for the selection of her documentary project, which takes us to Mbëbëss, the largest landfill in West Africa. Through the stories of Mbaye, Laye, and Djily, the film becomes a metaphor for a contemporary world shaken by crises yet striving for reinvention.
