Wounded in the eardrum during an attack, a very ambitious diving brigadier is "put ashore" for missions of checkpoints on the coast, while waiting for her recovery. Unable to take refuge in her marine bubble, she discovers that her commander, to whom she is very devoted, is letting an ecological tragedy happen, on the instructions of his hierarchy. She can no longer turn a deaf ear and chooses to denounce the ecocide, thus sacrificing her career.
