Pavel lives in Marcilly, a small town on the banks of la Loire. He works at Martinsson's, the local industrialist, like his father and his grandfather before him. He is sure to marry his childhood friend and almost sister Anja soon. That's the way it is. It's written in the big Book of Life. But Pavel is soon hit by another unpredictable and more violent reality. He loses his job at the factory and sees Anja growing apart from him and seeking independence. Pavel feels like he's been erased from his own future. He cannot bear it. I would rather erase himself from the world.
